Hi, I’m Chloe and I’m a designer.

It’s my passion to make things for people. I’ve taken pictures, sewed clothes, painted, even crocheted stuffed animals for people I care about. My goal is to design for people, to make everyone’s day just a little bit better, because design effects how we experience the world.

I grew up in a rural town in southeast Ohio and went on to graduate from Ohio University with my BFA in Graphic Design in 2021.

Having grown up in the foot hills of the Appalachian mountains, it is my passion to educate people on the region. Due to Appalachia’s consistent disenfranchisement, people living in these rural places are often forgotten about and struggle to find the same resources as their urban counterparts have readily available.

This is why I am a designer. I know what it’s like to live surrounded by poverty, without consistent cell phone signal, with limited broadband, and even without immediate access to specialized healthcare. Designing for users with similar experiences is how I know I can help make a difference, not just in Appalachia, but anywhere.
